Full Job Description: 

We are looking for a cabinet installer (subcontractor are encouraged to apply). Responsibilities include but are not limited to traveling all along the Wasatch front and back installing and/or making needed warranty repairs on cabinets. Experience is preferred but are willing to train the right person. Must be a reliable, self-starter and able to problem solve independently. The qualified candidate will have impeccable customer service skills and be very detail orientated. Able to stay on task and make scheduled appointments. 

Your Responsibilities: 

  • Review and approve PO’s for each installation – pricing, plans and specifications attached for referencing. 
  • Review and update availability using the Builder trend App for easy scheduling. 
  • Arrive on time at the customer’s home with proper tools for Installation of pre-assembled cabinets. 
  • Set expectations with customers on the installation processes – Install cabinets according to provided specifications. 
  • Check inventory against order summary while unboxing cabinet materials and appliances – if included. 
  • Install prefabricated cabinetry and associated cabinet feet, toe kick, light rail, crown molding, decor panels, decor pieces and accessories such as door knobs per design plans and fitter summary. 
  • Dry fit appliances as per design – connection not included in compensation (Installer may invoice client separately) 
  • Properly cut and fit luxury laminate countertops – if included, install edge banding on exposed sides. (Sink and cooktop cutouts included) 
  • Install Tek-Wall Backsplash if included in order (3/8″ Formica material). 
  • Submit daily progress updates and photos using provided technology – Builder trend App. 
  • Provide client satisfaction paperwork to the client upon completion of Installation of cabinets. 

Preferred Job Qualifications: 

  • Must be legally eligible for employment in the US and have valid legal documents and identification. 
  • Must be willing to submit to a background check. 
  • Must own and be familiar with a smartphone and reliable service plan. 
  • Must have reliable transportation with the ability to transport tools to and from job sites . 
  • Willing to travel out of town as assigned per contract scope (approximately 100-mile radius) 
  • Must be able to safely lift up to 80 lbs. 
  • Proficient in basic math skills required.
